Ninjas have always been a staple in video games. You have your Ninja Turtles, Ninja Gardens, Shinobis and many other games that have ninjas in them as enemies. And while there aren’t that many modern ninja games, every so often there will a retro inspired indie game that has something to do with ninjas. The latest entry to the ninja game (at least for consoles) is Within The Blade.
Players take on the role of a ninja from the Black Lotus village and is tasked to save the country from demons that were summoned by Mamoru Imai. The game spans 25 levels across five chapters and looks to be a fun hack n’ slash game with a bit of RPG elements and metroidvania mixed in. Within The Blade is set for release July 16th on the PS4, PS5, XB1, XBX and the Nintendo Switch.
