Revealed back at last year’s E3, the Lovecraftian inspired open world horror game, The Sinking City, is ready to release the Old Gods this month. In celebration of their arrival, a new trailer was release showcasing the detective gameplay:
While I did enjoy Call of Cthulhu, The Sinking City’s gameplay seems to be more detective-like, allowing players to be able to explore the city how they want instead of going down branching paths. It feels a lot like LA Noire, but with cosmic monsters ready to drive the world into chaos. Personally I’m interested to see more. Get ready to meet the Eldritch Gods when The Sinking City releases March 12, 2019.
