Its been about eight years since the last The Legend of Heroes game was released in the West. While XSEED has the rights to release The Legend of Heroes Trails in the Sky’s second and third chapter, they have shelved the projects due to both games having issues with localization being too massive for the company to undertake. But that does not mean they have given up on the series. In fact they have announced that while Trails in the Sky will be shelved for now, they will be localizing a different game in the series Trails of Cold Steel for the PS3 and Vita.
XSEED has also announced that an limited edition of the game called the ‘Lionheart Edition’. This edition comes with a replica school pin, an art book and a custom collectible clamshell-type box that will house the game. The Lionheart edition of the game will cost $49.99.
