This isn’t what Shining Force fans were expecting.
Freshly announced at the Japan Amusement Expo is Blade Arcus from Shining, a new arcade fighting games from SEGA. Now I’m not too familiar with the Shining Force franchise, due to me siding with Nintendo during the console wars of the 90’s, but I have heard some great things about the game and not to mention the controversy with SEGA ordering take downs of anything related to the series so that their new trailer for a new iOS game could be the top searched video on You Tube. Regardless, the series is highly regarded as one of the best turn based tactics RPG ever made on the SEGA Mega Drive/Genesis. Fans have been asking for a new game in the franchise for years, and now SEGA has answered that call….sort of. Here is the trailer for the upcoming arcade fighter:
