Square Enix sets release date for Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call, shows off collector’s edition

 

When Theatrhythm Final Fantasy released back in 2012, a wave of nostalgia flooded everyone as the iconic overture played. Some of the best and most iconic Final Fantasy songs and the cut scenes that played in the background in some of them released the memories of how great the FF franchise was in the past. Fans wanted more. They wanted an encore and in the world of live concerts this is also known as a curtain call. Which is very appropriate when SE announced  Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call last year.

Now that E3 is only a week away, SE has released a trailer for the game and additional details about an exclusive collector’s edition. First the trailer:

 

 

In addition to a ton of new songs, some of which are coming from spin offs and movies, Curtain Call also features a couple of new modes as well. such as a Melody mode and a Vs mode. SE also revealed that exclusively only on the SE online store that they will be offering a collector’s edition of the game which you can view below:

The collector’s edition comes with the following:

  • 20 track music CD
  • 3DS carrying pouch
  • five premium collector cards
  • Special box art

 

Both the collector’s edition and the regular edition of the game will see a release date of September 16 for North America and September 19 for Europe.
