A yakuza’s work is never done. After a successful release last year, SEGA has decided to bring over the sixth game in the Yakuza series (fifth in the US), Ryu ga Gotoku Of the End. Or as it will be know in the West, Yakuza Dead Soul.. Now I’ve been following this game for a while since it came out, and I have to say that I’m surprised. With the release of Binary Domain next month, I though that series creator Toshihiro Nagoshi would have given the series a break, or at least release the PSP entry of the series, Kurohyo: Ryu ga Gotoku Shinsho (Black Panther: Like A Dragon New Chapter). But here we are, two months away from another awesome entry into the series.
One bit of warning though, if you are already tired of zombies games, then you might want to say away, since the plot of Dead Souls is to find out why a zombie outbreak is happening in Kamuro District of Tokyo. But if you love series, you’ll be pleasantly surprised at some of the new mechanics that are in the game. In the newest video release, you can see a few examples of these new mechanics in action:
