That’s right Hulu is about to get more moe and kawaii. In a press release sent out, NIS America has announced that two of the animes that have licensed for localization, Love Live! School Idol Project season 2 and If Her Flag Breaks, will being streaming the first three episodes each. Both shows are still in broadcast in Japan, so more episodes will slowly start getting added. I’m not a Hulu/Hulu Plus user so I’m not sure what their policy is with anime that is still currently airing in Japan and simulcasting, so I would think it would be similar to regular TV shows, ie regular Hulu users have to wait a week and Hulu Plus users have instant access.
Either way, regardless if you like moe or not, I think it’s great that Hulu is starting to show more anime and getting it to the masses legally.
