Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans to air on Adult Swim’s Toonami block next month

It has been around twelve years since a Gundam anime has aired on Adult Swim/Toonami (not including an episode of Gundam Wing that was shown during April Fool’s 2012 prank). Since then Gundam fans are still waiting for the rest of the English dub of Gundam Unicorn, and have relied Gundam Build Fighters (a show based on Gunpla kits) and the exciting Iron Blooded Orphans. Iron Blooded Orphans was such a hit, a second season has been green-lit and will be airing sometime in the Fall 2016 season. Not only that, it also seems that the shows was so popular  enough that Bandai has also approved for a English dub of the show. In a press release sent out by media conglomerate Tuner Broadcasting System, it detailed a list of shows that Adult Swim has acquired and a list of shows that they will be dropping. On that list of acquired shows was Iron Blooded Orphans. The official Facebook page for Gundam, Gundam Global Portal, has release a 90 seconds trailer of the anime which you can view down below:

Iron Blooded Orphans will start airing next month on June 4, 2016 starting at 12:30, effectively replacing Dimension W.
