It’s time for the luchador to go Super Turbo!
Last year a side scrolling beat em’ up by the name Guacamelee! launched on the PS3 and Vita. It wasn’t your ordinary beat em’ up as the game was centered around tropes about the mighty luchador, aka Mexican Wrestlers aka Masked Wrestlers. It gain a pretty sizable fan base, especially with Hispanic gamers. Now those who missed out on all the awesome lucha inside joke will be able to experience them anew in Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition. You can tell the developers Drinkbox Studios were big fans of Super Street Fighter II Turbo. It shows even in the trailer, take a look:
