Even though the PS3 is only a few years away from retirement, its always a joy to find out that there still JRPGs that are still coming to the system. One of those games is Eiyuu Senki – The World Conquest from Fruit Bat. Eiyuu Senki seems to be a tactical JRPG with Visual Novel elements, at least that’s what I can tell from the following screen shots that were released:
The battlefield set up kind of reminds me of Monster Monpiece and as this video of the game in action shows, also a bit of Advance Wars:
Fruit Bat also released the opening to the game that features the vocals of Asami Imai, who also happens to voice Noire/Lady Black Heart from the Hyperdimention Neptunia series of games:
Not much else in known about the game other than that it will have the following features:
- 70+ stunning heroines to lead your armies and quest with
- 120+ cities to conquer across the world
- Tactical turn based battles with countless skills, items and enemies to master
- Multiple endings to reach in a huge, branching campaign
- Full Japanese story and battle voices by famous voice acting celebrities
Eiyuu Senki – The World Conquest has no set release date, but I’d speculate that the game might shoot for a Summer 2015, when there are few games released.
