It’s been a while since there has been any news about Persona 5. Last time there was any news, it was announcement to a countdown clock to an announcement which had something to do with the Japanese release I think. Anyways, Atlus has announced the release date for the game: February 14, 2017 aka Valentine’s Day aka a day of love and romance etc. In addition to the release date reveal Atlus has revealed two editions of the game: the Steel Book launch edition and the Take Your Heart Premium edition. The Steel Book Launch edition of the game is priced at $89.99 and comes with a steel book cover for the game. Here is what it will look like:
As for the Take Your Heart Premium edition, it contains the following items:
• Soundtrack CD: A selection of music from Persona 5 by legendary series composer Shoji Meguro in a CD wallet featuring P5 artwork.
• Morgana plush: Morgana the cat is not just the mascot of the Phantom Thieves, but is also a member—and also not just a cat! The premium edition includes an exclusive 4″ plush of Morgana.
• 64-page hardcover art book: This art book is full of concept sketches, character art, and more by character designer Shigenori Soejima.
• SteelBook: As strong as a vault, the game disc for the PS4 will come specially packaged in a SteelBook collectible case, emblazoned with Persona 5 designs.
• School bag: Designed after the traditional school bags in Japan, the exclusive replica bag comes complete with the Shujin Academy crest.
• Collectible outer box: Easily the largest premium edition in ATLUS’ history, the entirety of the “Take Your Heart” Premium Edition comes in a colossal collectible box.

As a person who is a fan of premium editions of games, Persona 5′ just takes my heart away (see what I did there lol). You can always count on Atlus to go extra fancy with premium editions. If you want to impress your Valentine next year, be sure to pick up Persona 5 when it comes out on February 14, 2017.
